Job summary

Strohm Energy in IJmuiden, The Netherlands, seeks a Lead Field Engineer to lead offshore termination activities and Jumpers On Demand campaigns. You will manage on-site teams, ensure safety, drive equipment readiness, and interface with clients worldwide.

With 5–7 years of hands-on offshore experience, you will mobilize equipment, develop procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Field Service Group. The role offers a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ hands-on experience in installation, onsite fabrication, or engineering.
• Experience mobilizing equipment for overseas Oil & Gas operations.
• Willingness to travel/stay away from home for extended periods.
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Self-driven, reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead global end-fitting operations—from single-pipe jobs to full JoD campaigns—while overseeing critical on/offshore witnessing and repair activities.
• Be the face of our operations onsite, interfacing with clients and prepared to deploy worldwide on short notice.
• Champion safety and quality across offshore, onsite, and homebase activities.
• Own the mobilization process, ensuring equipment readiness, logistics, stock control, and personnel/visa arrangements.
• Report with clarity, drive improvements, and turn field lessons into smarter, stronger operations.
