Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Frac Engineer to lead a field specialist crew at rig site, focusing on fracturing treatments and gravel packs with GOHFER/FracPro and Stimplan tooling. You will design, execute and optimize fracturing operations, monitor chemicals, pressures, and data, and train new staff while collaborating with clients.

Travel up to 50% offshore and onshore; on-site work with cross-functional teams in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Onshore or field engineering experience in fracturing treatments or related completion operations such as stimulation, gravel packs, sand control and pressure pumping.
• Ability to manage and test frac, stimulation and other oil and gas chemicals on location with QA/QC understanding.
• Must be capable of communicating technical data in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Operate, control and deploy fracturing operations onsite according to client activity plans.
• Collaborate with design phase stakeholders and deploy other completion tools as required.
• Track chemicals, rates and pressures using software for data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with lab and test frac chemicals on location to ensure quality control.
• Ensure all software is ready for the job and troubleshoot challenges onsite.
• Collect data and provide client support with timely updates to stakeholders.
• Supervise onsite teams and train new frac crew and engineers.
• Prepare daily reports with accurate data for stakeholders and operational solutions.
