Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV is seeking a firmware designer to develop and modify firmware for FPGA systems, interfacing hardware and software. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and take ownership of VHDL design tasks from specification to testing.

You will contribute to innovative electronics solutions for customers, participating in an Agile project environment and maintaining up-to-date tool practices across the team. The role offers a dynamic, development-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial VHDL FPGA design experience.
• Experience with FPGA design flow and timing closure.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing firmware solutions and budgeting for quotes.
• Drafting and reviewing specifications with customers.
• Designing, implementing, testing and documenting firmware independently.
• Staying current with development tools and practices.
• Adhering to coding standards and Agile project teamwork.
