Job summary

Stcorp in the Hague Area is seeking an FPGA Engineer to join a high-tech team that designs and builds specialized medical imaging components used in diagnostics. You will develop FPGA architectures, prototype and validate digital functions, and collaborate with R&D and production across the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities include maintaining FPGA implementations, designing robust test environments, and optimizing beamforming and signal processing.

Qualifications

• Experience in FPGA architectures and testing.
• Strong VHDL and MATLAB skills.
• Understanding of electronics and PCB design principles.
• Knowledge of medical imaging or ultrasound principles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA architectures and code to prototype, test, and validate digital functions for integration into custom ASICs.
• Maintain and enhance existing FPGA implementations.
• Design and develop advanced, ultra-high-density interconnect PCB layouts.
• Integrate imaging components and electronics into customer systems.
• Implement and optimize signal processing and beamforming algorithms.
• Set up, verify, and validate laboratory test environments for R&D and production.
• Coordinate with customers on interfacing, integration, and system requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues in R&D, production, and external partners.
