Job summary

Booking.com is seeking an FP&A Intern to support business planning, forecasting and budgeting at our Amsterdam HQ. You will build scalable reports and dashboards, partner with cross-functional teams during month-end close, and contribute to transformation initiatives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

You will work on ad-hoc analyses, scenario modeling and predictive tools while gaining exposure to Anaplan and data warehousing workflows.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field.
Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheet, Powerpoint/Google-slide.
Excellent communication skills.
A critical mindset and a strong desire to aid in data-driven decision making.
Affinity with technology, AI tooling preferred.
Proactive Attitude: team player and self-starter who can work independently.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and in a multicultural environment.
Foundational knowledge of Python, SQL, statistical modelling, and data mining.
Experience with financial modelling, planning/EPM tools (e.g., Anaplan), data warehousing tools (Snowflake), and data/process automation.

Responsibilities

Assist with business planning, financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Support scalable, insightful reporting and dashboards on key metrics.
Partner with business and accounting teams during month-end close.
Perform ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and benchmarking on projects.
Contribute to FP&A transformation initiatives and planning systems.
