Job summary

GEODIS in Venlo zoekt een ervaren reach truck chauffeur die pallets veilig verplaatst en goederen nauwkeurig in hoog rekwerk opslaat en terughaalt. Je rijdt in smalle gangpaden, plaatst pallets zorgvuldig en controleert continu of alles klopt met de locatie en veiligheidsprocedures.

De werkdag loopt van 09:00 tot 18:00 met een vroege dienst eens in de drie weken; er is garantie op fulltime uren, 8% vakantiegeld en een reiskostendeclaratie van 0,25 per km tot maximaal 12,50 per dag.

Qualifications

• Relevante reach truck-ervaring en certificaat vereist.
• Veilig werken in smalle gangen en hoogrekken.
• Beschikbaar voor fulltime dienstverband tijdens de vermelde uren.
• Bereid om te helpen met andere logistieke activiteiten.

Responsibilities

• Zorgen voor veilig verplaatsen van pallets in smalle gangen.
• Opslag en ophalen van goederen uit hoog rekwerk.
• Aanvullen pickinglocaties.
• Controleren of goederen op juiste locatie staan.
• Meewerken aan dagelijkse planning met collega's.
• Ondersteunen bij orderpicken en klaarzetten voor verzending.

Wat je gaat doen

As a reach truck driver at GEODIS, you make sure that goods are stored and moved safely and accurately. You will operate the reach truck in narrow aisles and place pallets in high racking.

• moving pallets safely through the warehouse;
• storing and retrieving goods from high racking;
• replenishing picking locations;
• checking whether goods are stored in the correct location;
• following all safety procedures;
• keeping your workplace clean and organised;
• assisting with order picking, checking and preparing goods for shipment when required;
• working with your colleagues to complete the daily schedule.

Your experience and accuracy help keep the logistics process running safely and efficiently.

Wat we je bieden

You can expect clear working hours, guaranteed hours and good employment conditions:

• a gross hourly wage between €14.98 and €16.20, depending on your experience;
• guaranteed full-time hours;
• work during the day;
• standard working hours from 09:00 to 18:00;
• one early shift from 07:30 to 18:00 every three weeks;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• a travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometre, up to a maximum of €12.50 per day;
• a temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment;

Functie-eisen

We are looking for an experienced reach truck driver who works accurately and takes safety seriously.

• have a valid reach truck certificate;
• have recent experience operating a reach truck;
• can work safely in narrow aisles and with high racking;
• are accurate and follow safety procedures;
• are available full-time during the stated working hours;
• are willing to assist with other logistics activities when required;
• are physically able to perform warehouse work;
• are able to obtain a Dutch Certificate of Conduct, known as a VOG.
