Job summary

Mostyn Chase in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced FX Dealer who will execute client orders across FX Spot, Forwards and Options and manage hedges with banking counterparties. FX Dealer - German Speaking | Global FX & International Payments - Amsterdam

Are you an experienced FX dealer working within a regulated investment firm? Do you have a strong track record trading FX Spot, Forwards and Options for corporate or institutional clients? Are you a native or fluent German speaker? Do you enjoy combining trade execution with close client relationships?

We are looking for an FX Dealer to join the Amsterdam trading team of a well-established global FX and international payments provider, serving corporate and institutional clients across North America, Asia and Europe.

This is a client-facing trading role where you will execute client orders across FX products, manage the firm's hedge positions with banking counterparties, and provide advice based on a clear understanding of each client's needs.

What You Will Do

• Price and execute client trades in FX Spot, Forwards and Options
• Execute back-to-back transactions with banking counterparties
• Advise clients on suitable products based on their requirements
• Manage market, counterparty and operational risk arising from trading activity
• Support KYC and client onboarding
• Build strong relationships with clients, counterparties and sales colleagues
• Contribute market insight to business development and product direction

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience within a regulated investment firm
• Extensive FX knowledge and a strong understanding of markets
• Senior-level experience in a commercial trading environment
• Clear understanding of risk management and compliance in a regulated setting
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and trading platforms such as Barx, Arena or GS Portal
• Native or fluent German and excellent English; further European languages are a plus
