Job summary

Moxy & Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts, invites you to join as a Food & Beverage Employee. In this role you will provide excellent service in our bar and restaurant and contribute to breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

You will bring hospitality passion, strong communication, and, ideally, Dutch language skills, with fluency in English. You must be flexible for shifts and holidays, and there are growth opportunities within the Vertiq network and Marriott

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food & beverage service is preferred.
• Good knowledge of English (Dutch is an advantage).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving ability and stress resistance.
• Proactive attitude and team spirit.
• Passion for hospitality and service.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in the day-to-day operations of the bar & restaurant to ensure compliance with policies and exceed guest expectations.
• Taking, preparing, and serving orders from cocktails and coffees to dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to hotel standards.
• Ensure servicing & kitchen equipment is clean and meets hygiene and safety regulations, paying attention to health hazards and code violations.
• Maintain cleanliness of fridges, dishes and overall bar and restaurant furniture.
• Collaborate with front office to ensure a seamless guest experience.
