Job summary

192 Damen Maritime Ventures Holding B.V. is seeking a Technical Project Manager for remote monitoring to lead the installation, connection and delivery of Triton on board vessels.

You will coordinate kick-off to handover with customers, engineers, suppliers and project teams, ensuring progress, quality, budget and planning are aligned. You will translate vessel requirements into actionable plans, manage cross-disciplinary input and drive successful system installation and acceptance.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Automation, Maritime Technology, Marine Engineering, Mechatronics or Systems Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in managing technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English with confidence and empathy able to translate complex matters into clear decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects from acceptance to delivery.
• Create, update and monitor project plans with new build project managers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Define and optimize project scope, deliverables, budgets and planning together with customers and commercial colleagues.
• Coordinate the information, components and resources needed for successful system installation.
• Stay in close contact with suppliers, customers, engineering, sales and project teams.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities, and take action where needed.
• Prepare project evaluations and report on technical, financial and process performance.
• Draft and manage contract variations when scope, planning or deliverables change.
