Job summary

DP World in Tilburg is seeking a First Operator to support day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. You will coordinate activities, monitor performance, and help maintain smooth workflows while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating, supporting, or leading operational teams in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Good communication in Dutch and English; ability to share information clearly.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities to support an efficient, safe, and productive workflow.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and performance against targets.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, 5S standards, and QEHS requirements.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job support to team members.
• Support the Supervisor and act as point of contact during absences.
• Identify challenges and escalate concerns when needed.
• Complete checklists, shift handovers, and operational communications.
• Collaborate across departments to maintain workflows.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
