Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist to join our client’s team. You will support the S&OP process with financial insights, modeling, and data-driven decisions to optimize profitability, inventory, and service levels.

The role requires 8+ years in Commercial or Supply Chain Finance within FMCG, with strong S&OP experience and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills. Expect a hybrid setup with 2 days onsite in Amersfoort and 3 days remote.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Commercial Finance or Supply Chain Finance within FMCG, food, or dairy.
• Experience with S&OP processes and supply chain analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with scenario modeling and financial impact assessment.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP, HFM, Power BI, Adaptive or similar systems.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support scenario planning and decision-making within the S&OP process, considering go-to-market strategies and manufacturing priorities.
• Provide end-to-end visibility of decisions in the S&OP cycle, analyzing impact on profitability, capacity, inventory, and cash flow.
• Transition S&OP from volume-based to value-based insights for accurate forecasting.
• Lead automation initiatives by integrating financial and planning data for efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes.
• Drive capacity utilization by sharing financial insights during S&OP meetings.
• Prepare monthly reports and consolidate data for global S&OP reviews.
• Act as backup for the second S&OP controller when needed.
• Challenge and support planning teams to optimize operations.
• Develop methodologies for translating raw milk sales into forecasts.
• Monitor and reconcile supply volumes in planning meetings.
• Lead rollout of production volume upload processes for forecasting.

• Proficiency in stakeholder management within a matrix organization.


• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP, HFM, Power BI, Adaptive, or similar systems is preferred.


• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.


• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting, combining 2 days onsite at the Amersfoort office and 3 days remote.
