Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and analytical Demand Planner for our Butter scope within the FC Professional & Trading team. This role is an excellent opportunity for those who thrive in an international environment and enjoy using their analytical and communication skills to support our commercial teams. The goal is to forecast demand accurately and ensure timely product availability for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demand Planning:
  • Create, monitor, and improve demand plans for both operational (13 weeks) and tactical (18-24 months) horizons in collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, and supply planning departments.
  • Understand and translate business dynamics (NPD, phase-in/out, promotions, events, seasonality, tenders, contracts, activations) into the demand plan.
• Data Analysis:
  • Monitor, analyze, and challenge the quality of enrichments provided by commercial teams. Offer advice based on expertise.
  • Manage the weekly and monthly demand review process as part of the S&OP cycle.
  • Manage activities related to the constraining and allocation process to ensure the match of demand & supply.
  • Monitor and take initiatives to improve KPI indicators: forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service level, and waste.
• Reporting and Communication:
  • Execute thorough analysis and provide adequate reporting when necessary.
  • Align with supply points on availability and work towards continuous supply chain improvement.
  • Manage management information and provide insights through periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses.
  • Drive the translation of the Supply Chain strategy into a Demand specific roadmap. Implement roadmap projects and drive improvement initiatives based on priority.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant working experience (or equivalent).
• Experience:
  • Knowledge and experience with forecasting and/or supply chain/logistics, preferably in an FMCG/Food environment.
  • Knowledge and/or interest in statistics, modeling, and tools/systems is key.
  • Knowledge of ERP-systems (OMP or SAP APO), Power-BI, and Excel (advanced).
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to determine and tailor your message for different cultures and market types.
  • Constructive challenge approach while maintaining relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills and results-driven mindset.
  • Eager to continuously learn and improve.
  • Full business proficiency in English and Dutch.
