SDK Engineering B.V. in Werkendam is seeking a Financial Controller to join two colleagues in shaping our financial administration and business operations.

You will work closely with the financial director and external accountant to deliver reliable financial information and support smarter, more efficient processes. The role offers independence, opportunities to improve workflows, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Higher professional education (HBO) in business economics, finance, or similar.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with financial administration and reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing the financial administration.
• Handling accounts receivable and accounts payable administration.
• Processing and checking purchase, sales, and bank transactions.
• Monitoring payment terms and liquidity position.
• Managing insurances, vehicle fleet, and financial master data.
• Handling time, inventory, and production administration.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and management reports.
• Preparing and monitoring liquidity forecasts and cash flow.
• Analyzing project results and identifying deviations.
• Reporting on production, order portfolio, and financial progress.
• Preparing and checking VAT returns.
• Supporting other tax filings.
• Preparing the annual accounts and audit.
• Improving and optimizing financial processes.
• Managing and further developing our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
• Setting up and performing weekly and monthly checks.
