Are you a Logistics Finance Analyst ready to take the next step in your career and build your experience in a larger, more complex business environment?
At GXO, we're looking for an ambitious Site Controller to join our team in Lelystad. Working closely with the Site Manager, site leadership team and wider finance colleagues, you'll gain exposure to the financial performance of a large-scale logistics operation and help turn data into insight that improves decisions, efficiency and customer outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong grounding in financial analysis, reporting and forecasting who is ready to broaden their commercial experience, develop as a finance business partner and take on increasing ownership of a site P&L in a fast-paced logistics environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the site leadership team with clear financial analysis, insight and constructive challenge
- Building your understanding of the full site P&L and taking increasing ownership of financial performance
- Analysing operational and financial results to identify cost drivers, trends, risks and opportunities
- Supporting the monthly close, management reporting, forecasting and annual budgeting cycles
- Developing models, dashboards and performance reporting that help leaders make informed decisions
- Working with operational, commercial and customer-facing teams to improve profitability and efficiency
- Helping to maintain robust financial controls, accurate reporting and compliance standards
- Supporting customer invoicing and contributing financial input to commercial discussions
- Turning complex financial and operational data into concise, actionable recommendations
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accounting, Commercial Finance or similar role, with the ambition to take on broader responsibility
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect financial results with operational performance
- Practical experience supporting reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
- A curious, proactive approach and the confidence to ask questions, share insight and build effective stakeholder relationships
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP or financial systems
- Fluent English communication skills are essential
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or a 3PL environment is advantageous but not essential; an interest in learning a complex operational business is key
What's in it for you?
- Competitive salary and annual bonus scheme
- A highly visible role supporting a leading global fashion brand within a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
- Direct influence on operational and commercial performance
- The opportunity to work alongside experienced operational leaders and senior stakeholders
- Hybrid working and flexibility
- Access to GXO University and a wide range of development opportunities
- An international environment with clear career progression opportunities across GXO's global network
Ready to make an impact?
If you're looking for a role where you can combine financial expertise with operational influence and help shape the success of a large-scale logistics operation, we'd love to hear from you.
