Job summary

Ranpak is seeking a Financial Accountant to maintain the accuracy of financial records, control project spend, and manage the fixed asset ledger. You will support audits and ensure proper balance sheet reconciliation with a focus on internal controls.

You will collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders across regions, contribute to CSRD reporting, and drive continuous improvements in financial processes while upholding deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of proven experience in General Ledger Accounting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Hana (preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Hands-on mentality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Controlling current projects and the fixed asset ledger managing over 80.000 machines
• Maintaining close contact with business stakeholders to ensure project alignment
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations related to assets and projects
• Investigating discrepancies or outstanding items and resolving them timely
• Preparing documentation for auditors and management reviews
• Supporting internal and external audits and statutory financial statements
• Assisting in process improvement projects and control enhancements
• Preparing and presenting monthly variance analysis for EMEA and APAC regions
• Contributing to CSRD-related reporting and note preparation
