Ahold Delhaize is seeking a Finance Transformation Consultant to drive medium-to-high complexity projects from vision to execution within the Finance Services team.

You will coordinate cross-functional efforts with IT and business units, shaping processes and systems for more efficient operations across our global brands. This role offers significant impact and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, business transformation, process improvement, or finance.
• Experience with SAP is a big plus.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Your new team

You will step into a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with the Transition Manager within our Finance Services to ensure seamless project delivery and operational alignment.

Key focus areas of your role

• Planning, leading, and coordinating transformation projects of medium to high complexity; defining project scope, activities, deadlines, and priorities, and ensuring the achievement of project goals in accordance with the approved plan
• Analyzing existing business processes and business needs, preparing proposals for process improvement and standardization, developing solutions for more efficient ways of working, and participating in the implementation of organizational and system changes
• Coordinating activities throughout all project phases, tracking the execution of project tasks, managing project documentation, organizing the transition of solutions into regular operations, and supporting knowledge transfer to users
• Coordinating collaboration between business functions, IT teams, and other internal and external stakeholders; aligning requirements from various project participants, developing stakeholder communication, and providing expert support during the implementation of changes
• Identifying, assessing, and monitoring project risks, defining and implementing mitigation measures, tracking the execution of project plans, deadlines, and budgets, and proposing corrective actions to achieve project objectives
• Preparing analyses, reports, presentations, and other project documentation; monitoring achieved results and using key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve future transformation activities and processes
• Monitoring the development of methodologies, tools, and best practices in project management and business transformation; participating in improving internal work standards, providing expert support to project team members, and assisting in organizing training and knowledge transfer activities

• University degree in Economics, Organizational Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, business transformation, process improvement, or finance
• Professional experience within a large corporate system utilizing SAP is a big plus
