Job summary

MPT Consultancy is assisting an international online flower marketplace in Amsterdam. You will own bookkeeping, month-end close, and reporting for the Dutch BV and US LLC, coordinate VAT and payroll tax, and drive cash-flow forecasting with a focus on automation.

This fast-moving scale-up offers visa sponsorship, direct exposure to the CFO and senior management, and a path into FP&A and commercial finance, with 2–3 days in the Amsterdam office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance with hands-on bookkeeping and financial control experience.
• Strong skills in reconciliations, month-end close, budgets, and cash-flow forecasting.
• Experience improving or automating finance processes.
• Professional fluency in English; AI enthusiast.
• Nice-to-have: Dutch, international marketplace, e-commerce or scale-up experience; US entities or intercompany accounting; ACCA or comparable qualification.

Responsibilities

• Own bookkeeping, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Deliver monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow reporting.
• Run the 13-week cash-flow forecast and control payment timing.
• Coordinate VAT, payroll tax, and year-end for Dutch BV and US LLC.
• Automate repetitive work using AI and better integrations.
• Build management reporting, rolling forecast, and budget.
