Job summary

pladis seeks a Finance Manager to lead a two-controller team and own financials for three European entities in Zaandam, Netherlands. You will partner with Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain to drive performance via insights and robust planning.

You will oversee monthly closes, planning cycles (Actuals, Budget, Forecast, Strategic Plan) and HQ overheads, while collaborating with Europe and Global Finance to drive improvements. English required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance or similar qualification.
• 7+ years relevant work experience in financial roles.
• Fluent English; French or other European languages a plus.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP and reporting tooling (JDE, Onestream, Cognos BI).
• International experience in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accurate and timely periodic financial closing and reporting for three European entities.
• Lead planning and forecasting cycles (Actuals, Budget, Forecast, Strategic Plan).
• Act as Finance Business Partner to Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain teams.
• Support business cases, pricing initiatives and investment proposals.
• Deliver analysis on sales, gross profit, pricing and performance; identify risks and opportunities.
• Consolidate regional performance and advise senior leadership.
• Drive improvements and automation of reporting and performance processes.
