Job summary

RNF Group is a large international organisation with multiple brands, legal entities and a high volume of orders. You’ll lead the Finance & Control team, ensuring accurate financial administration and delivering management-ready insights to steer the business.

The role combines strategic thinking with day-to-day operations, including coordinating closes, improving processes and collaborating across our international offices, especially with teams in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into practical business insights.

Job description

Finance at RNF Group is about much more than preparing reports and closing the books. As an international organisation with multiple brands, legal entities and high transaction volumes, Finance plays an important role in supporting the business and providing the insights needed to make well-founded decisions.

As Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the financial administration of RNF Group while leading the Finance & Control team. You’ll work closely with management, translate financial data into meaningful insights and contribute to the further professionalisation of our finance organisation.

This is a broad role where you’ll combine strategic thinking with day‑to‑day operations. One moment you’re reviewing the monthly results with management, the next you’re discussing a process improvement with your team or supporting colleagues in one of our international offices. What will you do?

RNF Group is a large international organisation with multiple brands, legal entities and a high volume of orders. That complexity is reflected within Finance. Together with your team, you’ll ensure that the financial administration is accurate, reliable and delivered on time, while providing management with the information needed to steer the business.

The fashion industry moves quickly and Finance moves with it. Priorities can change during the day, meaning you’ll regularly switch between operational questions, strategic discussions and supporting your team. Being able to adapt quickly while maintaining an overview is an important part of this role.

You’ll also work closely with colleagues across our international organisation. Because our finance activities extend beyond the Netherlands, you’ll regularly collaborate with teams in different countries and time zones, particularly with our colleagues in Hong Kong.

As our organisation continues to develop, Finance is evolving with it. You’ll play an important role in further professionalising our processes, identifying opportunities to work smarter and strengthening the use of data throughout the organisation. In the coming years, you’ll contribute to several key projects, including the implementation of trimitand a new consolidation tool in collaboration with HVEG Group.

Alongside improving systems and processes, you’ll coach and develop your team. You’ll encourage colleagues to take ownership, support their professional growth and create an environment where continuous improvement is part of the way you work together.

As Finance Manager, you will:

• A salary between €7,000 and €7,500 gross per month (based on a 40-hour workweek), depending on your knowledge and experience.

What do you bring?

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics or a related field.
• Around 7–10 years of experience within Finance & Control, including at least 4–5 years of leadership experience.
• Experience within an international trading or commercial organisation with multiple legal entities.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into practical business insights.
• Experience with ERP systems, Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• A structured and critical mindset, strong communication skills and the flexibility to adapt quickly in a fast-moving international environment.
