Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in the Netherlands is seeking a Site Controller to join the Veenendaal team. You will partner with the Site Manager to guide financial decisions, manage month-end and year-end closes, and drive budgeting and forecasting processes in a hybrid work setup.

The role requires a Finance degree and 2–3 years in finance/controlling, ideally within 3PL/logistics, with strong Excel skills and English fluency. You will contribute to a dynamic, international environment at GXO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance and/or controlling.
• Experience in a 3PL or logistics environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Fluency in English with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Act as finance business partner, advising site leadership on financial matters and partnering with cross-functional teams to identify cost drivers.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing, manage the full P&L and oversee local accounting.
• Lead budgeting and weekly/monthly forecasting with corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls for compliance and accuracy.
• Create sales invoices for completed services and discuss them with site managers and customers.
