Job summary

citizenM Leiden is seeking a Finance Business Partner for Shared Services to be the trusted partner for People, Procurement and Tech. You’ll support monthly performance, budgeting and forecasting, building strong relationships with department heads.

This hands-on role sits in our global Finance team based in Leiden, with growth opportunities across FP&A, finance transformation and financial control. The role is hybrid (2–3 days in office) in Leiden, full-time, with a clear path to expanding your

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics.
• Strong finance, business control, accounting or analytic experience.
• Curiosity to perform financial analysis and tell the story behind the numbers.
• Strong communication to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner for Shared Services departments and support monthly performance and decision-making.
• Provide insights on financial and non-financial performance and explain trends.
• Lead annual budget and Business Plan input with department heads.
• Provide monthly Latest Estimate and Risks & Opportunities input with the business.
• Collaborate with Financial Control during month-end close and ensure clear commentary on variances.
• Contribute domain highlights for the monthly board report and answer ad-hoc questions.
