Job summary

GEA Refrigeration Netherlands is seeking a Business Controller to partner with management and translate operational changes into financial impact. You will lead period-end closing, ensure accurate postings, and drive performance analysis within a collaborative Finance team in Den Bosch.

The role requires 3+ years in controlling or accounting, strong SAP/Excel skills and fluency in Dutch and English. A proactive, precise mindset and cross-functional collaboration are essential, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, business administration or economics.
• At least three years' experience in controlling or accounting.
• Strong accounting, closing, reconciliation and financial-control knowledge.
• Analytical, hands-on and able to connect financial and operational performance.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, accurate working style.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and strong Excel skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; international experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management and operational teams on financial performance and decisions.
• Coordinate period-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and corrections.
• Ensure accurate postings, reconciliations and timely resolution of accounting issues.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, reports and variance analyses.
• Monitor margins, costs, projects, service performance, inventory and work in progress.
• Support cash flow, working capital, internal controls and statutory compliance.
• Improve finance and accounting processes with the Shared Service Centre.
