GEA Group's Den Bosch Finance team is seeking a Business Controller to blend strong business partnering with hands-on accounting operations. You will support management with reliable insights, forecasts and performance analysis, while ensuring accurate postings and timely closing in line with IFRS/NL GAAP.

You will coordinate period-end closing, prepare budgets and variance analyses, monitor costs and working capital, and collaborate with the Shared Service Centre to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
• At least three years' experience in controlling or accounting.
• Strong accounting, closing, reconciliation and financial-control knowledge.
• Analytical, hands-on and able to connect financial and operational performance.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and strong Excel skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; international experience is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Partner with management and operational teams on financial performance and decisions.
• Coordinate period-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and corrections.
• Ensure accurate postings, reconciliations and timely resolution of accounting issues.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, reports and variance analyses.
• Monitor margins, costs, projects, service performance, inventory and work in progress.
• Support cash flow, working capital, internal controls and statutory compliance.
• Improve finance and accounting processes with the Shared Service Centre.
