Job summary

GEA Refrigeration Netherlands in Den Bosch is seeking a Business Controller to partner with management, provide reliable insights, forecasts and performance analysis, and own postings, reconciliations and period-end closing.

The ideal candidate has a finance degree, 3+ years in controlling or accounting, strong Excel and SAP skills, and fluent Dutch and English; international experience is a plus. This full-time role offers a competitive salary, holidays, and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
At least 3 years' experience in controlling or accounting.
Strong accounting, closing, reconciliation and financial-control knowledge.
Fluent in Dutch and English; international experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Partner with management and operational teams on financial performance and decisions.
Coordinate period-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and corrections.
Ensure accurate postings, reconciliations and timely resolution of accounting issues.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, reports and variance analyses.
Monitor margins, costs, projects, service performance, inventory and work in progress.
Support cash flow, working capital, internal controls and statutory compliance.
Improve finance and accounting processes with the Shared Service Centre.
