Job summary

Geely Auto Europe is seeking a (Senior) Finance Business Partner to support our Netherlands operations. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, partner with leaders to evaluate investments, and provide actionable insights on performance and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deliver management reporting, and help strengthen financial controls in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; translate data into insights.
• Experience with SAP or Power BI is advantageous; fluent in English and Chinese; Dutch a plus.

Job Title: (Senior) Finance Business Partner

About The Role

We are looking for a (Senior) Finance Business Partner to support our business growth and financial performance in the Netherlands. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, drive cost efficiency, and support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and financial planning processes in alignment with business objectives.
• Business Performance Analysis: Analyse financial results against budgets and forecasts, identify key variances and business drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Cost Control & Optimization: Monitor operating expenses, headcount costs, and budget utilization, identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and resource allocation.
• Business Partnering: Partner with business leaders to evaluate business cases, assess financial implications, and support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
• Management Reporting: Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and performance reviews to provide clear visibility of business performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with local and regional finance teams to strengthen financial controls, improve reporting processes, and enhance financial planning efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Financial Controlling, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate financial data into business insights and recommendations.
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders, challenge assumptions constructively, and influence decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP and Power BI is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
• Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or multinational business environment is preferred.
