Job summary

Mitra SK is seeking a finance professional based in the Netherlands (Brielle) to manage general ledger, close processes, and statutory filings. The role includes intercompany reconciliation, tax compliance, budgeting support, and process improvements.

Travel to Turkey may be required to support the Turkey branch accounts. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounts/Finance with 2–3 years of Dutch accounting experience, strong English and local language skills, and proficiency in Microsoft

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with local GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare and file corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax returns.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes; analyze variances and provide commentary.
• Track and control operating expenses and capital expenditures.
• Monitor bank accounts; manage cash flow; prepare cash flow forecasts.

Job description

• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.

2. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, corporate laws, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Handle audits (statutory, internal, tax) and respond to queries from government authorities.

3. Taxation

• Prepare and file corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax returns.
• Calculate tax provisions.
• Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.

4. Controlling & Analysis

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the country.
• Analyze variances and provide commentary on financial performance.
• Track and control operating expenses and capital expenditures.

5. Cash & Treasury Management

• Monitor bank accounts and manage cash flow needs.
• Liaise with banks for treasury operations, forex transactions, and local financing arrangements.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding requests.

6. Process Improvement & Internal Controls

• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
• Suggest and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.

Any other area management will include as per requirement. Need to handle Turkey Branch Accounts also. Flexible and willing to travel to Turkey whenever required
