Job summary

Jobbex Engineering is seeking an Installation Technician to install and assemble various access systems at client sites across the Netherlands. You will work independently or with a team, coordinating with planning and project management to ensure a professional installation.

You will configure software when needed, test equipment, and hand over to the client. Training and support are provided to perform confidently in this client-facing role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or training in mechanics or electrical engineering or equivalent technical knowledge.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
• Interest in computers and software for programming equipment.
• Customer- and service-oriented attitude for daily client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble access systems at client sites across the Netherlands.

About the role

As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and assembling various access systems at client sites throughout the Netherlands. You will work independently or as part of a team, always staying in close contact with planning, work preparation, and project management.

On-site, you ensure a professional installation. Afterwards, you configure the software if required, test the equipment, and hand everything over to the client. Thanks to your work, everything functions as it should, and you leave another satisfied customer behind.

What you bring

• Preferably a diploma or training in mechanics or electrical engineering, or strong technical knowledge
• A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
• Interest in computers and software (for programming equipment)
• A customer- and service-oriented attitude you enjoy working with clients daily

Product groups you will be trained in

You will receive internal training in one or more of the following product groups:

• Security swing doors and mantraps
• Sensor barriers / pedestrian gates
• Turnstiles
• Sectional or overhead doors
• Speedgates

You will usually start with automatic sliding doors and expand your expertise step by step.
