Job summary

JBT Marel in North Europe seeks a Field Service Engineer to service and optimize EV systems at customer sites and participate in installation projects across the region.

You will travel ~50–60% internationally, lead on-site activities, train operators, and report progress to customers and engineering teams. A degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering and strong English are required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of mechanics with affinity for electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and controls.
• Experience in service/maintenance of complex machinery is an advantage.
• Good command of English; German is a plus; EU travel documents required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute Service projects of EV Systems.
• Conduct service and maintenance visits to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls-related issues on-site.
• Lead and coordinate local employees in installation projects.
• Keep in touch with and report progress to the customer.
• Train operators and maintenance staff and provide feedback to R&D.
