Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and optimize EV Systems at customer sites across North Europe, with a focus on installation projects in the region. You will travel ~50–60% and lead local teams on larger projects, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues, and train operators.

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics with affinity for electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and controls.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~50–60%).
• English language fluency; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service and optimize EV Systems at customer sites in North Europe.
• Conduct service and maintenance visits to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls-related issues on-site.
• Lead and coordinate local employees in larger installation projects.
• Train operators and maintenance staff in the use of our systems and provide feedback to R&D.
