Buzz Power Banks is seeking a hands-on, flexible part-time helper to set up and maintain our power bank stations across partner venues in the Netherlands. You will install stations, perform basic checks, and ensure devices are online and visible to customers.
A valid driving license is required; car rental can be provided if needed. You will work closely with our field team to ensure smooth operations, support the sales team with onboarding venues, and log each task in our app.
Dear candidate,
My name is Daniil and I am the founder of Buzz. I have personally crafted this job description, since I believe in the importance of honesty and connection between the whole team.
Buzz is a start-up in its scaling phase. We are a power bank sharing company with more than 600 locations across the Netherlands and Spain.
A customer can rent a power bank in a bar, restaurant, mall, airport, or venue and return it at any other BUZZ station across the country.
I personally value speed, honesty, simplicity and focus on results. We are only looking for ambitious people that are ready to take on ownership. We are customer oriented and our goal is to help millions of people with low battery stress across Europe.
We are expanding fast and need a reliable, hands-on individual to help us set up, check, and maintain our stations across cities. If you want a flexible job where you aren't stuck behind a desk, this is for you!
Keep the BUZZ network running smoothly on the ground. You will handle simple station setups, basic technical checks, and chat briefly with our local venue partners to make sure everything looks great.
Deliver and install Buzz power bank stations at local cafés, bars, and restaurants.
Make sure the station is placed in a great spot where customers can easily see it.
Test a quick rental on your phone to ensure the machine is online and working perfectly.
Take a quick photo of the setup to upload to our app.
Visit existing venues on your weekly route to check on the stations.
Fix simple issues: check if a machine went offline, swap out a broken cable, or wipe the station.
Move or pick up stations if a venue changes its layout.
Help our sales team by answering simple setup questions for new venue managers.
Show venue staff a quick 2-minute overview of how the machine works so they feel confident.
Use our simple phone app to log when you complete a setup or fix a machine.
We welcome applications from candidates with a wide range of experience and backgrounds. You do not need to meet every listed requirement to be considered for this role.
Research suggests that candidates from underrepresented groups may be less likely to apply unless they meet all the stated qualifications. If this opportunity interests you, we encourage you to apply and let our recruitment team assess your experience and potential.
