Optics11 Life in Amsterdam is seeking a Field Integration Engineer to join our cross‑functional offshore team. You will bring hands‑on mechanical/electrical integration experience, build and test prototype systems, and drive field trials and deployments in challenging offshore environments.

You will collaborate with projects, sales, product management, and external partners, travel up to 40%, and support documentation and procedures while complying with offshore standards.

Competenze

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical/Electrical/Naval or marine engineering or similar.
• Strong CAD skills with SolidWorks or CATIA or equivalent.
• Experience in offshore field engineering and equipment integration.
• Ability to travel up to 40% and work in international settings.

Mansioni

• Build, integrate, and test prototype hardware and tooling for towed array and seabed node systems.
• Support integration engineering: cabling, power and signal chains, system commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Lead and support field trials and deployments in offshore environments.
• Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation per offshore standards.
• Coordinate with projects, sales, business development, product management, and external partners.
