Job summary

Strohm Holding in IJmuiden, Netherlands, is seeking a Lead Field Engineer to lead global offshore termination activities, including JoD campaigns, transspooling, TCP installations and repairs. You will manage onsite teams, uphold safety, and ensure flawless field execution while interfacing with clients.

Based in the Netherlands, you will own readiness of Field Service equipment, drive upgrades, support testing and contribute to continuous improvement across the Field Service Group.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years hands-on experience in installation, onsite fabrication or engineering, preferably offshore or remote-site exposure.
• Proven track record mobilizing technical equipment for overseas Oil & Gas operations.
• Comfortable working away from home, often for several weeks.
• Strong documentation skills producing clear procedures and reports.
• Excellent English communication and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead global end-fitting operations from single-pipe jobs to JoD campaigns, overseeing on/offshore witnessing and repair activities.
• Be the face of our operations onsite, interfacing with clients and being ready to deploy worldwide at short notice.
• Champion safety and quality across offshore, onsite and homebase activities.
• Own the mobilization process, ensuring equipment readiness, logistics, stock control, and visa arrangements.
• Report with clarity, drive improvements, and contribute to smarter procedures.
