Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English; German is a plus.
• Valid EU work authorization and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

In this customer-facing role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with engineering teams, supplier partners, and sales colleagues to identify opportunities, solve complex design challenges, and accelerate business growth.## Your Responsibilities* Develop and execute technical sales strategies to increase design activity, design wins, and revenue growth within assigned accounts and markets.* Present new products, technologies, and innovative solutions to existing and prospective customers.* Build strong relationships with key technical decision-makers, engineers, and influencers at customer organizations.* Understand customer applications, technical requirements, design processes, and product development cycles.* Collaborate with customer engineering, design, and production teams to identify system-level requirements and recommend suitable solutions.* Drive the adoption of supplier-supported analog, power, and semiconductor technologies.* Participate in customer and supplier design reviews and provide technical consultation throughout the design cycle.* Manage opportunities from concept through production, ensuring successful project execution and customer satisfaction.* Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and product training sessions for customers and internal sales teams.* Identify and track strategic design opportunities while leveraging supplier resources to maximize success.* Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities to provide valuable business insights.* Act as a trusted advisor by creating technical sales tools, presentations, and solution proposals.* Maintain and enhance technical certifications through continuous learning and training.* Collaborate closely with account managers, inside sales teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.## What We Are Looking For* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.* Minimum of **5 years of experience** in technical sales, application engineering, field application engineering, or semiconductor solutions.* Strong knowledge of **Analog and Power Management Solutions**, including semiconductors and related applications.* Proven background in technical business development and customer-facing solution selling.* Solid understanding of product lifecycles, system architectures, and total cost considerations.* Experience supporting customers through the complete design cycle, from concept to production.* Excellent communication and presentation skills.* Fluent in **Dutch and English** (spoken and written).* German language skills are considered an advantage.* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.* Valid EU work authorization.## Personal Skills* A strong relationship builder who can engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.* Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.* Comfortable presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.* Self-motivated and capable of managing your territory independently.* Collaborative, proactive, and results-driven.* Passionate about technology and continuous learning.## What We OfferAt Avnet, we believe our people are our most valuable asset.
