Job summary

IFS is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to embed directly with customers on IFS PSO, our enterprise scheduling and optimization platform. You will work on .NET backend and Angular frontend, solving complex resource planning problems while engaging with customers to ship practical AI-driven solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience building AI-powered products, with a bias toward shipping and rapid iteration in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production AI applications.
• Strong software engineering background, ideally C#/.NET.
• Experience with optimization techniques and constraint programming.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world scheduling problems into optimization models.
• Configure and extend core scheduling engine against live datasets.
• Build and iterate new solutions with customer teams under deadlines.
• Feed learnings back to product and engineering teams.
