Job summary

IFS is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to embed directly with customers on IFS PSO, our enterprise scheduling and optimization platform. You will work on .NET 10/C# backend and Angular frontend to solve complex resource planning problems at scale.

This hands-on role combines software engineering, optimization, and direct customer engagement, with AI-assisted workflows and an opportunity to influence the core product through real-world feedback.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI-powered software products or systems.
• Strong background in C#/.NET and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience translating customer needs into optimization models.
• Ability to work directly with customers and ship solutions under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world scheduling problems into optimization models with customers.
• Configure and extend the core scheduling engine against live data.
• Build and iterate on new solutions with customer teams under deadlines.
• Feed learnings back to product and engineering teams to improve the platform.
