Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam is offering a 6-month Retail Operations Internship for university students. You will assist with daily tasks in the Retail Department, support store managers, and coordinate with stores and the warehouse to ensure on-time replenishments.

This role provides hands-on experience in data analysis, order processing, and cross-functional collaboration across international teams, with a focus on Excel proficiency and a passion for the fashion industry.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the 6-month internship.
• Must have European nationality or study in the Netherlands due to Dutch legislation
• Currently enrolled in university
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Additional languages are a plus, not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables
• Proactive, organized, analytical mindset
• Ability to work independently and strong attention to detail
• Strong interest in analysis and applications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day tasks within the Retail Department
• Support Retail Operations, including assisting store managers with operational and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with stores and the warehouse to ensure on-time replenishments
• Process and monitor store returns, ensuring proper tracking and issue resolution
• Support the opening of new stores by coordinating with various teams
• Coordinate cross-functionally to execute internal orders for different departments, considering warehouse capacity and stock levels
• Support the daily operations of the retail department while gaining hands-on industry experience
