Job summary

Prodrive Technologies in the Netherlands is seeking a Failure Analysis Lead to guide a team of 10–15 FAEs who perform technical defect analysis on production failures in high-tech products. You will set direction, coach engineers, and drive continuous development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will also participate in hiring, manage stakeholder expectations, and contribute to service readiness by reviewing diagnostics, tests, and tools while ensuring ownership and high standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of relevant technical experience
• Strong leadership experience in a technical environment
• Deep knowledge of power electronics
• Experience with complex troubleshooting and Root Cause/Failure Analysis
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with strong ownership
• Proficiency in English

Responsibilities

Are you ready to combine your technical expertise with leadership? As a Failure Analysis Lead at Prodrive Technologies, you will lead and develop a team of approximately 10-15 Failure Analysis Engineers (FAEs) who perform technical defect analysis on production failures of complex high-tech products.

Key responsibilities:

You will work in a production environment where advanced power modules, power cabinets and high end computing cabinets are built. As the technical leader of the team, you set the technical direction and standards, coach and challenge FAEs, and create an environment where they can continuously develop their expertise.

You will also play an important role in the hiring of new FAEs and in providing technical input on FAE performance and development to the Team Leaders. During the hiring process, you assess and challenge the technical knowledge, capabilities, and potential of candidates.

For existing FAEs, you provide technical input to support decisions on contract extensions, promotions, and career progression.

For new products, you contribute to service readiness by reviewing available diagnostics, test capabilities, tools, and accessories. When gaps are identified, you communicate these to the relevant product teams.
