About the role

We are searching for a skilled Failure Analysis Engineer. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team at the technical heart of the company. Your main stakeholders are quality engineers, development teams and manufacturing departments. As failure analysis engineer you are performing Root Cause Analysis on high-tech electronic/mechatronic products that are returned from our customers or from our product manufacturing departments. Your findings will be essential for the quality team for defining improvements and resolving failure modes. Furthermore, you are responsible for implementing containments for non-conformance product handling to improve production flow.

Your profile

• BSc or BEng in Electrical engineering or Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a technical role, preferably involving analysis or testing of electronic systems. For example, experience as a failure analysis engineer, root cause engineer, defect analysis engineer or electronics repair analyst.
• Hands-on and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong interest in electronics.
• Authorized to work in the US (for Boston/Canton Branch applicants only).
