Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist to oversee maintenance activities at Duiven HUB and ELST station on a rotating on-site schedule (Day/Night). You will lead coordination for equipment and electrical/mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.

You will report in MAXIMO, order spare parts, supervise MH Equipment projects, and advise technicians and CRS on technical and administrative tasks to close the reporting loop.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in technical maintenance/coordination

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site maintenance activities at Duiven HUB and ELST station, rotating shifts.
• Report maintenance work and status in MAXIMO; communicate with stakeholders.
• Order spare parts and coordinate OEMs; supervise MH Equipment projects.
• Assist in repairs for conveyor systems and mechanical/electrical components as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and CRS; ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Close reporting loops with administrative tasks such as invoices and POs.

What you will be doing:

Job scope are both Duiven HUB and station ELST, but not limited to (potential support to other stations might be required); on-site job under rotative schedule, where presence on site will be determined by the rotation rooster - 2 shifts (Day and Night, currently running from Monday to Saturday morning). Rotation roostering leads the presence on site.

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for leading & providing the full coordination of the maintenance activities on site (and remotely for other stations), inherent to the maintenance preparation, execution (on-hands job when situation requires it), reporting via CMMS MAXIMIO, and communicating to corresponding stakeholders.

Scope will not be limited to purely coordination tasks, but as well you will be essential part for the support on completion of repairs and maintenance of conveyor system/ equipment related, electrical / electronical & electromechanical stems, as well as pure mechanical parts such as bearings, shafts, rollers, and many others components on site when support is required if the situation demands it (Team player). Applicant must ensure the correct performance of the sorting system present in place, in a safely and effective way.

Accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant internal and external standards and procedures are paramount guidelines to comply with. Facility Maintenance Specialist should be able to support technically on identifying anomalies as they arise and, where clear procedures exist, provide assessment for a direct resolution, in consultation with Control Room Specialist and Senior Technicians.

Facility Maintenance Specialist must be capable of asses Technicians (Regular and Seniors) and CRS on site on their job and duties, as well as provide advice and assessment on all technicalities of both: execution of the job and administrative tasks to close the reporting process (MAXIMO).

Administrative works are also part of your routine, such as ordering of spare parts, coordination of OEM's, supervision of Projects related to MH Equipment (Material Handling), as well as processing invoices, PO's / PR's, declaring and reporting maintenance activities (such as breakdowns), usage of parts, LOTO procedure, toolbox meetings, amongst others.
