Job summary

FedEx Express Netherlands B.V. zoekt een logistiek medewerker/handler om pakketten te sorteren, scannen en laden/lossen in een druk werkomgeving. Je werkt volgens veiligheidsregels en ondersteunt het team en de supervisor waar nodig.

Locatie is Heerlen; flexibele diensttijden (13:00–23:59) en trainingen worden geboden. Schulden of contractopties variëren; bredere carrièremogelijkheden en lerende omgeving beschikbaar.

Qualifications

• LBO/MBO denk- en werkniveau, logistieke richting aanbevolen.
• Geldig rijbewijs B is een pré.
• Ervaring in distributie is een pré.
• Heftruck/EBT certificaat is een pré.
• Goede contactuele en communicatieve vaardigheden.
• Teamplayer.
• Resultaatgericht en meedenkend.
• Stressbestendig.
• Flexibel inzetbaar binnen het operationele tijdsvak (13.00 – 23.59)

Responsibilities

• Sorteren, scannen, laden en lossen van pakketten in een hoog tempo.
• Inzet van relevante hulpmiddelen en technologie waar nodig.
• Volgen van gezondheids- en veiligheidsvoorschriften.
• Ondersteunen van jouw supervisor en teamleden waar nodig.

Logistiek Medewerker/Handler bij FEDEX in Heerlen

Jouw missie?

• Je verricht scan en sorteer activiteiten waarbij je zorgt voor de juiste verwerking van zendingen;
• Je verricht laad- en loswerkzaamheden van voertuigen en / of luchtvracht containers, pallets;
• Je bent gemotiveerd en draagt actief bij aan het behalen van de gestelde productiviteit- en kwaliteitstargets;
• Je weet op de juiste wijze om te gaan met verschillende hulpmiddelen zoals elektrische pompwagen en/of heftruck;
• Je bent een coordinator, Je zorgt ervoor dat de werkzaamheden waarvoor je verantwoordelijk bent volgens planning en protocol verlopen.
• Je volgt de instructies van de Leading Hand / Operations Supervisor op;
• Je geeft opvolging aan de afspraken over beleid en regelgeving m.b.t. Security en Health & Safety;
• Je stelt je gedurende je dienst pro/actief, flexibel en collegiaal op en levert een positieve bijdrage aan het gehele operations team;
• Je bent bereid om de benodigde trainingen te volgen voor de functie;
