Job summary

GXO Logistics, a dynamic global supply chain partner, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator for a new site near Breda. You’ll coordinate maintenance, liaise with vendors, and ensure safe, efficient operations that support our people, processes and customers.

This role offers autonomy, opportunities to implement improvements, and a culture focused on safety, sustainability, and continuous enhancement across the BeNe region.

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 or HBO in Facility Management, or equivalent experience
• Around 3+ years’ experience in facilities, maintenance coordination or site services, ideally within logistics
• A practical, solution-focused mindset with the confidence to coordinate suppliers and actions
• Knowledge around maintenance scheduling of HVAC or electrical systems would be a strong advantage
• Clear communication skills in English; Dutch language skills would be a plus
• Experience with LEAN or continuous improvement in a warehouse or operational environment would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Keep the site running smoothly by coordinating daily and planned maintenance activities safely, accurately and on time
• Be the link between operations, internal stakeholders and approved vendors, ensuring equipment and building systems are maintained to a high standard
• Use data, reports and agreed targets to spot issues early, follow up on actions and help improve site performance
• Maintain clear, accurate records including maintenance logs, vendor documentation and compliance information
• Deliver a responsive, reliable service by communicating clearly and acting quickly when support is needed
• Help create a safe, compliant working environment by applying company policies, safety procedures and relevant legal requirements
• Contribute to a safety-first culture in line with GXO Health & Safety standards, training and procedures
• Support sustainability initiatives that reduce energy, water and fuel use, waste and emissions
• Bring ideas forward and help implement smarter, simpler and more efficient ways of working
