Job summary

Amgen Breda seeks an inspiring Senior Manager Facilities & Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary team and shape the long-term strategy for facilities, utilities and engineering at the Breda GMP site.

You will drive reliability, compliance and performance while building a high-performing organization and partnering with global engineering, procurement and external partners to enable growth and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience within Engineering/Utilities in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and developing high-performing organizations.
• Strong understanding of critical utilities, technical infrastructure, asset management and reliability principles.
• Experience developing engineering strategies and translating business growth into infrastructure and investment roadmaps.
• Experience with capital projects and working with external engineering partners and contractors.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a multidisciplinary Facilities & Engineering organization.
• Define and execute long-term Engineering, Facilities & Utilities strategy.
• Own reliability, compliance and performance of utilities and infrastructure.
• Develop infrastructure and asset lifecycle plans aligned with Site Master Plan.
• Provide governance for capital engineering projects and major investments.
• Drive continuous improvement through reliability engineering and digital innovation.
• Develop internal capabilities and optimize partnerships.
• Build strong relationships with Site Leadership, Global Engineering, Procurement and suppliers.
• Champion safety, compliance, ownership and continuous improvement.
