Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking a Manager Utilities Maintenance to lead the 8‑strong Utilities Maintenance team, ensuring safe, reliable operation of HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, purified water, and related systems at the Breda site. You will balance daily maintenance with long‑term asset strategy and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance, utilities, or facilities teams within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, boilers, chilled water, purified water, clean steam, and building automation systems.
• People‑focused leadership style with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire technical teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English.
• Experience in GMP or regulated manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the operational Utilities Maintenance team.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and coordinate maintenance activities, contractor support, and on‑call coverage.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Reliability Engineering, and external vendors to deliver reliable utility systems.
• Drive continuous improvement, maintenance performance, and asset lifecycle planning to support site growth.
• Support utility‑related projects, infrastructure upgrades, and investment initiatives.
