Job summary

JLL is seeking a dynamic Facilities Assistant to act as the main liaison for facility operations, tenant relations and workplace management in Middelburg. You will combine property management with strong customer service to ensure smooth operations while representing JLL with professionalism.

You will support hospitality, maintenance scheduling, vendor coordination and cross-department collaboration to deliver high standards of facility management and tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities or property management.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Vendor management and coordination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for tenant inquiries and escalations.
• Build and maintain relationships with tenants and landlords where applicable.
• Ensure lease terms and legal requirements compliance across portfolio.
• Coordinate service visits with property management and approved vendors.
• Drive standards in lease requirement management and tenant satisfaction.
• Provide hospitality and support for guests, visitors and employees.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Kitchen, Real Estate for project completion.
• Ensure facility compliance with local building, health, safety, and fire codes.
• Develop operational procedures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
