Hilton Rotterdam is seeking a personable F&B Waiter to join JAQ, delivering exceptional service and guiding guests through the menu to enhance their dining experience.

You will be part of a fast-paced, international team, predominantly in the evenings and weekends, with opportunities to grow through Hilton’s learning programs and global staff benefits.

Qualifications

• F&B experience encouraged, passion for food and drinks.
• Strong communication in English, Dutch preferred.

What does your day as a F&D Waiter look like?

You will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a perfect dinner. From providing exceptional service to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in Jaq and Jaq Atelier, your contributions will make every dinner extraordinary for our guests. Moreover, you will play a crucial role in maintaining Hilton's high standards of service.

• Welcoming guests in your amazing enthusiastic way.
• Explaining the menu with spot-on recommendations.
• Delivering awesome dishes from our new menu.
• Ensuring satisfaction with a keen eye and a ready smile.

Skills

Who are you?

You are a true team-player with an extensive hands-on mentality. In this highly international environment, you understand the importance of communication and your English skills are well developed. The following describes you:

• Some F&D experience. However, a passion food and drinks is actually the most important!
• Strong communication skills. We mostly communicate in English, followed by Dutch. The more languages you speak, the better!
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• A commitment to teamwork and excellent guest service.
• Availability to work flexible hours, mostly in the evening, including weekends and holidays.
• Social butterfly - you get energy from getting to know all kinds of people.
• Quick on your feet - no situation can slow you down.
• Basic food safety know-how is great, but we will teach you the rest.
