Job summary

Hilton Rotterdam is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean and inviting guest rooms. You will clean rooms and bathrooms, vacuum corridors, change linens, replenish amenities, and keep trolleys organized to ensure an excellent guest experience.

Strong physical stamina is required as the role is demanding. Fluency in Dutch and/or English is preferred, and weekend availability is important. Rotterdam residents with valid work papers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak Dutch and/or English.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to work on weekends.
• Live in the Rotterdam area and have valid work papers.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms.
• Vacuum rooms and hallways.
• Change bed linen, towels and guest amenities.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks and maintain trolleys.
• Report missing or damaged items to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Handle guest questions and requests and manage lost and found procedures.

Responsibilities

As a Room Attendant, you are responsible for cleaning and replenishing the guest rooms and replenishing the room amenities. Together, we ensure that our guest has a perfect stay! Your daily responsibilities include:

• Cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms


• Vacuuming rooms and hallways


• Changing bed linen, towels, and guest amenities


• Performing regular thorough cleaning tasks


• Refilling and maintaining trolleys


• Reporting missing or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor


• Properly handling guest questions and requests


• Performing lost and found procedures

Who are you?

Our team is very diverse and international. It is therefore important that you speak Dutch and/or English well. Working in Housekeeping is very physical. That is why it is important that you are in good shape and can work at a fast pace. Previous Housekeeping experience is a pro, but not a must. If you are willing to learn, we will teach you the rest! It is also important that you are available to work on the weekends. Finally, we can only proceed with candidates who live in (the area of) Rotterdam, and who have the right papers to work in the Netherlands.
