Job summary

Mama Makan, located inside Hyatt Regency Amsterdam, seeks an enthusiastic F&B Team Lead to supervise the restaurant operations and lead the team. You will ensure guest satisfaction, uphold brand standards, and manage daily F&B activities with a hands-on approach.

The role requires 2+ years in hospitality, a hospitality degree, strong English and English, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Join a dynamic team in a hotel setting that emphasizes guest experience and team development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ hospitality experience with a supervising role in F&B.
• Degree in Hospitality / Tourism or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Excellent English; Dutch language skills preferred.
• Team player with strong collaboration and reliability.
• Experience using a POS system.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA passport or valid permit).

Responsibilities

• Lead F&B outlets in absence of the F&B Manager.
• Hands-on supervision in the restaurant during busy periods.
• Assist in monthly inventory checks of equipment and supplies.
• Know menu items and upsell recommendations.
• Keep outlets clean and organized front and back of house.
• Handle cashiering and Micros procedures; balance cash/credit.
