Job summary

W Amsterdam, part of Corendon Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an experienced F&B Manager to lead the full Food & Beverage operation across the W Lounge & Bar, In Room Dining and Banqueting, delivering luxury service and a bold guest experience.

You will inspire Talent, elevate standards, and ensure every guest interaction is unforgettable, while maintaining high-energy, on-brand operations in this iconic two-building venue beside Dam Square.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in same or similar role.
• Fluency in English.
• Dutch language is appreciated.
• Work Permit for The Netherlands is required.
• Leadership experience to inspire and guide a diverse team.
• Operational excellence with a hands-on mentality.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across W Lounge & Bar, In Room Dining and Banqueting to ensure luxury service and a fully on-brand W experience.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and brand standards across every outlet.
• Drive cross-department collaboration to deliver ALL IN service philosophy.
• Stay in the know about everything happening in the hotel; run the scene and know every detail.
• Balance operations and admin: scheduling, stock counts, ordering, reporting.
• Develop and coach Talent: appraisals, coaching, performance reviews.
• Elevate team performance: motivate, discipline when needed and ensure W-level standards.
• Maintain service excellence: ensure all teams follow service standards from start to finish.
• Deliver Whatever/Whenever service: personalize guest interactions and create unforgettable experiences.
• Keep every space sparkling: guarantee a sharp, stylish environment across F&B.
• Thrive in high-energy environments: fast-paced, loud music, weekend/evening peak times.

As our F&B Manager, you are the all‑round expert who leads the full Food & Beverage scene at W Amsterdam. From the W Lounge & Bar to In Room Dining and Banqueting, you ensure every guest experiences luxury service, bold energy and an unmistakably W vibe. You run the operation, inspire Talent and keep every detail sharp, stylish and on‑brand.

• Develop and coach Talent — Handle appraisals, coaching, performance reviews and team development.
