Job summary

Corendon, operating W Amsterdam, is seeking a Junior In-Room Dining Manager to supervise daily IRD operations and elevate guest experiences in a fast-paced luxury setting. You will bring the W vibe into rooms, coaching staff and coordinating with kitchen and bar to ensure flawless service.

You will lead shifts, maintain stock, monitor quality, and respond to guest requests with a proactive, guest‑first attitude. Previous F&B supervisory experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar or supervisory F&B role.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Dutch and additional languages are a plus.
• Valid work permit for the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Support the Banqueting & In-Room Dining Manager in daily operations.
• Lead and coach the IRD team during shifts, ensuring service excellence.
• Oversee order taking, delivery, and presentation of all IRD experiences.
• Ensure all minibars are stocked and aligned with brand standards.
• Monitor quality, timing, and guest satisfaction across all IRD touchpoints.
• Drive a 'Whatever/Whenever' mindset to turn requests into a 'yes' experience.
• Stay informed about menus, promotions, hotel offerings, and local insights.
• Ensure smooth communication with kitchen, bar, and other departments.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a flawless guest environment.
• Optimize workflows and mise en place practices.
• Handle guest feedback and intervene to exceed expectations.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and training of IRD team members.

Job Overview

As a Junior In-Room Dining Manager you will support and lead the daily operations of our In-Room Dining service, ensuring that every guest experience is elevated, personal, and unforgettable. You will bring the W vibe directly into their rooms.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the Banqueting & In-Room Dining Manager in daily operations
• Lead and coach the IRD team during shifts, ensuring service excellence

• Ensure all mixing bars (minibars) are perfectly stocked and aligned with brand standards
• Monitor quality, timing, and guest satisfaction across all IRD touchpoints
• Drive a “Whatever/Whenever” mindset, turning every request into a “yes” experience
• Stay fully informed about menus, promotions, hotel offerings, and local insights
• Ensure smooth communication with kitchen, bar, and other departments
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a flawless guest environment
• Optimize workflows and ensure efficient mise en place practices
• Handle guest feedback and, where needed, intervene to exceed expectations
• Support staffing, scheduling, and training of IRD team members
