Job summary

The Hoxton Lloyd in Amsterdam is offering a hands-on F&B Management Internship, supporting the Food & Beverage Director across Breman Brasserie, event spaces and kitchen operations. You will assist with admin tasks, reporting and projects across the F&B department, and help during busy services, events, or when extra hands are needed.

You'll help create SOPs, assist with staff planning, coordinate events with F&B and Events teams, and manage inventories, menus, and guest feedback to drive

Qualifications

• A student of Hospitality Management or a similar field, ready to turn theory into practice.
• Available for a full-time internship starting in January 2027.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a bonus.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to keep a few plates spinning at once.
• Curious about what makes a great F&B operation tick, from cost control and team planning to events and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food & Beverage Director with the day-to-day running of Breman Brasserie, our event spaces and kitchen operations.
• Assist with daily administrative tasks, reporting and other projects across the F&B department.
• Support the operational teams during busy services, events or when extra hands are needed.
• Help create, update and implement SOPs to ensure smooth and consistent operations.
• Assist managers with staff planning, scheduling and monitoring labour costs.
• Support the planning and coordination of events, working closely with the F&B and Events team.
• Help manage inventories, stock levels, uniforms and purchasing processes.
• Assist with creating and updating menus, food and drink bibles, collateral and other F&B materials.
• Collect and analyse guest feedback from platforms such as Google and TripAdvisor, helping the team turn insights into action.
• Prepare reports and gather information to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in team briefings, tastings, training sessions and end-of-month inventories.
• Support F&B projects from start to finish, bringing fresh ideas and helping turn them into reality.
• Work closely with the restaurant, events and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless guest experience across all F&B outlets.
